System requirements: can your PC run it?
RADIOSOL's published minimums: a GTX 1060, 4 GB RAM and 4 GB storage on Windows 10 (64-bit) — or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (64-bit) on Linux. Recommended: RTX 3060 and 8 GB RAM.
RADIOSOL is a game about a Sun that kills — and the store's own table suggests that Sun is not cheap to draw. These are the official system requirements, both platforms, straight from the Steam page, plus a plain-language read on what they mean for your machine.

Both builds require a 64-bit operating system. Linux is listed as a fully supported platform alongside Windows — the store publishes its own Linux table, not a Proton footnote. There is no Mac version.
What the numbers actually mean
- The graphics floor is a GTX 1060 — that is the headline. For a walking sim, that is a high floor: this is a game built around rendering a lethal Sun and kilometre-scale megastructures, and the store is telling you it wants a real GPU. Integrated graphics are not the target.
- 4 GB of RAM minimum, 8 GB recommended. Light. Almost any desktop or laptop from the last decade clears this bar.
- 4 GB of storage. The install is tiny by modern standards — atmosphere and geometry over texture bulk.
- DirectX 11, 64-bit only. Nothing exotic here; any GPU that meets the GTX 1060 bar handles it.
Steam Deck and controllers
Two honest unknowns, as of this check: Valve has not published a Steam Deck compatibility rating for RADIOSOL, and controller support is not listed in the store's feature set — a forum request for full controller support is still waiting on a reply. Linux support means the Deck's operating system is not the blocker; the missing pieces are an official rating and an answer on gamepads. If either lands before or after release, this section gets updated the same day.
If you are checking before buying
- Will it run on my laptop? If it has a dedicated GPU in GTX 1060 / RTX 3060 territory and 8 GB of RAM, the published specs say yes. On integrated graphics, wait for real-world benchmarks after September 30.
